Willy, the lamb, was a TV co-star for a day.
Willy, a three month old lamb, is one of the newest residents at theLighthouse. Abandoned with a severe leg injury, too fatiqued to make a sound, his head was barely noticed through the tall grass of a sheep farm. He's had a long struggle, but after receiving medicine and care for the injury he was able to begin walking again. He has been making strides literally and figuratively ever since. Deprived of having a mother for nurturing and tutoring, Willy is now part of the goat family at Lighthouse. He is getting used to more people and it is hoped he will enjoy a full recovery and long, healthy life. Willy is a lion in sheep's clothing. That he is alive today is proof.
KVAL-TV recently profiled a veterinary student at OSU. As it turns out, Willy was in for some treatment and grabbed his 15 minutes of fame while he was there. See Willy's TV debut![]()
