One of our campers feeding Summer a carrot.
Our second annual summer camp was on Saturday, August 11. The kids that attended had lots of fun and learned about animals as they gained hands-on experience in how to care for them, feed them, learn about their basic needs, and made animal masks, as well as other activities. If you missed this annual event, and would like to know when next year's camp will take place, sign up
to receive an email announcement (note: all email addresses are kept private).
Remember, your visits to the farm do not have to be only once a year. We run a volunteer program where adults and teens can volunteer to help out with some of the work that needs to be done to care for our many animals. See the volunteer section of the website to learn more about this opportunity to help, or check out our helping out page about the many ways in which you can be of service to our mission to help abused and neglected farm animals.
If you desire to have a tour of the farm, please contact us first . The Sanctuary is a working farm, and tours must be scheduled around our work schedule. Please contact us for cost and other tour information.
If you'd like to see a few pictures from this year's camp, go to our Camp 2007 gallery and check out the fun.
